Sowing advice:

  1. Sow in the Autumn or early Spring. I prefer to sow mine in February or March and plant them out so they fatten up over Winter and then shoot away in the Spring when the soil warms up.

  2. The seed is very small so just srinkle on top of the soil and gently firm them down into the soil. Water them in gently but don’t soak them or the seed can rot.

  3. Keep the seed raising slightly damp but not wet. Germinates in 1 to 2 weeks.
